WROL Training

WROL stands for “Without Rule Of Law”. Without Rule of Law is defined here as a time when police, military, etc have lost control. In other words a lawless situation. We use it here in place of the slang that you are probably more familiar with: SHTF. They basically mean the same thing. Then there is the term, “The End Of The World As We Know It”, or the abbreviation (TEOTWAWKI). WROL can mean the same but also applies to different disasters and emergencies man-made or natural disasters where law and order has ended for the time being. Hurricane Katrina is an example. New Orleans was cast into utter chaos for days with little help from police or government authorities.

Many high ranking officials in our government agree that a major failure of the power grid will occur. They are saying “when” not “if”!

In 1977 a lightning strike in New York on a Hudson River substation tripped two circuit breakers, causing power to be diverted in order to protect the circuit. The chain of events that followed ended in an entire blackout for the area, which led to mass rioting, over 1000 deliberately set fires, the looting of 1600 stores, and the eventual arrest of 4,500 perpetrators and the injury of 550 officers, according to some estimates. “Opportunistic thieves grabbed whatever they could get their hands on, from luxury cars to sink stoppers and clothespins, according to the New York Post. The sweltering streets became a battleground, where, per the Post, “even the looters were being mugged.”
The power was only out for 25 hours in one area. Imagine being out for six months or even a year which some have said could easily be the case. You haven’t seen “bad” until you see a crowd of half crazed hungry people. They do not think straight. They will take what they want and unless you are really prepared you will not be able to stop them.
Go ahead, try imagining how long you will be able to survive if the power grid goes down hard, and there is no electrical power available anywhere close to you for the next one to twenty years.

Simply put…You will die!

We do not teach prepping. We leave that to the TV entertainers. We teach survival, because that is what it will be in a lawless situation or a world “without rule of law”.

Here are just a few things for you to consider:

  • No electricity means nothing works
  • Gasoline pumps no longer work so there will be no more deliveries of supplies
  • No supplies means no food.
  • No Running Water – What water is available will be stagnant and need purifying
  • No Law Enforcement – No one to save you from criminals and they will come after you in a violent way. Human life will be worth nothing. There will be more people who mean to do you harm than there will be people who are prepared. Most people have no idea what it takes to survive. Desperate people become unpredictable! Gangs that are already lawless and terrorizing big cities will make living in urban areas impossible.
  • No Clinics, Hospitals or Emergency Rooms
  • No Heat or Cooling
  • No Internet – No way to get news from the outside
  • No Phones – Again, no way to get information. When the power lines go down, and the radio stations stop transmitting, there’s one line of communication that will still be alive and well – Ham Radio! Communication is going to be a critical factor in a WROL situation
  • No Working Toilets – Poor sanitation will cause disease
  • No Instant Entertainment – The boredom will be almost unbearable
  • No Emergency Services Available – No 911 calls can be made.
  • Below is an excellent trailer from the NatGeo documentary portraying how things could be if the power grid was to fail for a length of time. I encourage you to watch the documentary.
