The media rarely reports on the successful defensive gun use by a legally armed, law-abiding citizen but mostly only reports about gun atrocities when used by criminals.
With the ever-increasing interest in home safety and personal protection; the need for proper training has never been more important. Every responsible gun owner should be encouraging family, friends, and fellow citizens to support the safe and proper use of firearms through education and training courses such as those offered by BamaCarry Inc, NRA, and the USCCA.
One of the best ways to overcome a fear of guns is to start with a basic handgun or firearm safety class. Even if you are a firearm owner but have never taken a basic course it would be to your benefit to do so. Most gun ranges offer these on an ongoing basis, or you can contact the National Rifle Association or the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) which has a listing of classes and instructors all over the country.
If you are within driving distance of McCalla Alabama we would really love to have you join us. Our basic handgun classes are usually limited to no more than ten students. The reason is that we want to be able to ensure each student gets enough personal instruction to feel adequate with a handgun.
